Another attack on Ivory Coast

-Liberia blamed

Top Liberian security agencies have begun investigation into a reported cross-border attack on an army based in neighboring Cote D’Ivoire by unknown gunmen alleged to be from Liberia.

An online website Herald Scotland reported on Sunday that the gunmen crossed the border from Liberia and launched a pre-dawn attack on an army base in western Ivory Coast, killing at least two soldiers, quoting a local member of parliament.

Pres. Sirleaf submits US$27.3M agreement

President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has submitted a US$27.3 million loan agreement to members of the House of Representatives.

If approved by both the House of Representatives and the Liberian Senate, the funds, which emanate from the European Investment Bank, will be used to rehabilitate the runway of the Roberts International Airport, the RIA, in Margibi County.

The Cyber_ED Christian School of Excellence which has been a home school for three years will be opened to the public on September 14, 2015. The founder of the School, Soni Karnga Williams said the school is here to bring Liberia in the 21st century and to make the kids grow in Christian faith.

5 mysterious deaths in Nimba

At least five people have reportedly committed `suicide in Kpain Township, Nimba County. The incident occurred over the weekend.

According to Commissioner William T. Whenda, who spoke with The NewDawn correspondent in Nimba, no reason has so far been provided for the act, and there has been no arrest.
