Teah Dennis “Missing in Action”

Liberia’s central defender, Teah Dennis, has reportedly gone missing while attending his trial out with DC United in Washington D.C, the United States of America. The Barrack Young Controller (BYC) defender went to the United States for six-month trial with the Major League Soccer club on May 3rd this year; he reportedly left the team’s hotel without notification.

LAF Boycotts Marathon

The Liberia Athletics Federation has announced a boycott of this year’s marathon to be organized by the Liberia Marathon Trust. The LAF said it reached the decision due to failure of the Liberia Marathon Trust to follow prescribed procedures and conclude a memorandum of understanding with the national athletics.

The Amputee Football Federation of Liberia (AFFEL) has begun preparation here for a tour of two counties beginning 25 April. The two counties are Bong and Margibi in preparation for an upcoming county meet in Monrovia.

UNMIL Donates to LTTA

The United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) over the weekend donated some materials to the Liberian Table Tennis Association (LTTA). The head of field office Montserrado County of UNMIL Tabitha Mbugua donated 20 nets, 40 rockets, 20 boards, and 20 tables to the Association and ask students and the lovers of table tennis to make use of the items.
