American philanthropist visits Liberia soon

An American philanthropist and missionary, Annett Llowieski, is expected to visit Liberia for the first time to participate in festivity marking the 8th Anniversary of the New Hope Foundation School System located in Zayzay Community, Paynesville City outside Monrovia.

The disclosure was made on Tuesday, May 16, by the General Overseer of the institution Mr. Lester Wehyee, during a news conference held at his office in Paynesville. Widely known as ‘Cowgirl’ for her generosity both in the United States and other parts of the world, Mr. Wehyee said Missionary Llowieski will grace the festivities which start from May 21-26, 2017.

He said the pending visit of the American philanthropist is to also afford her the opportunity to identify with dozens of less fortunate and orphans at the institution, who are in dire need of urgent humanitarian assistance in the areas of education, health care, and feeding.
He disclosed that the visitation of Llowieski will also enable her to provide assorted computers (laptops) and other materials to the institution aimed at enhancing its computer literacy program for students.

He added that Madam Llowieski, who is instrumental in the purchase of two lots of land for the school in lower Johnsonville Township outside Monrovia, will visit the land for the possible erection of an annex of the school during her two weeks stay in the country.

Mr. Wehyee further revealed that the American Missionary will on Monday, May 22, accompany students and the administrative staff of the institution to the Wokee Farm of All Liberia Party (ALP) political leader, Benoin Urey in Careyburg District, Montserrado County for a horse ride.

Wehyee says the U.S. philanthropist has been soliciting financial and materials assistance from goodwill American organizations as well as philanthropists on the institution’s behalf in the United States.
