2 burnt to death in Nimba

Two boys, 8 and 17, have burnt to death as a result of fire outbreak in Vahn Town, Gbear Clan in Tappita District, Nimba County.

The NewDawn correspondent in Nimba said the victims were asleep when their brother opened the door to serve a customer, using matches, which caused the fire.

Residents of Tappita District have expressed disappointment in the Liberia National Fire Service for the lack of fire service personnel in their area.

According to the aggrieved citizens, series of fire accidents had occurred in the district and elsewhere in the county without any fire service personnel on the ground to handle the situation.
