The Principal of the school Mr. Saye Dorlopia said the two students were arrested while in possession of the stolen textbook. He named those allegedly involved as students Mark Wehyee and Georgia Wesseh of the 8th Grand Class who were expelled during closing ceremony of the school on Friday, July 8, for the 2015/2016 academic calendar.

When contacted by our Nimba County correspondent, one of the expelled students Mark Wehyee confirmed of being in possession of the textbook, but claimed while on his way to school he saw the book in question with some kids playing with it and offered them some cash before taking it away.

Meanwhile, chiefs and elders of Gbor administrative district in Nimba County are calling on government to construct a modern compound for them. Presenting their request to Vice President Joseph Boakai recently in the county, they said since 1847, the visit by the Vice President, afforded them the opportunity for the first time to receive a sitting leader in their district.

The chiefs also spoke of lack of office space, which is impeding their performance while requesting to be included on government payroll.
