25 students awarded scholarships

A non-for-profit organization, Hope for the Hopeless, has awarded scholarships to 25 students in and around Monrovia.

The organization, established in the united state of America, with its local chapter in Liberia,  was aims to provide services in the areas of Education, Healthcare delivery, agriculture and quality programs for the less fortunate children, especially those affected by the deadly Ebola virus.

According to the Country Director of the organization, Mr. Frank S. Suku, the scholarships were the organization’s way of identifying with children badly hit by the deadly Ebola virus.

Suku said the scholarships are for children between the ages of 6 and 15 years, and will be given to those whose parents were not in the position to pay their school fees.
