29-yr-old Husband Commits Suicide

A 29-year-old man identified as Moses Appleton has committed suicide in Harper, Maryland County. His corpse was discovered hanging in his bedroom on Green Street at about 11:45 PM Monday.

Police told this paper in Harper that Moses hung himself out of fear that his girlfriend, who he had earlier brutalized that evening, was died.

Eyewitnesses said the deceased allegedly flogged his fiancée unmercifully after he suspected her of having an affair outside their relationship and returning home late that evening.

The girl, Antoinette Judy, bled profusely with bruises on body but is now responding to treatment at the J.J. Dossen Memorial Hospital. Moses death brings to two the number suicides committed in just days in Maryland County.

It can be recalled that on June 9, a clan chief identified as Dweh Nyema Langford hung himself after he suspected that one of his four wives was in an extra relationship.
