A 58-year-old woman has been reportedly stabbed to death in NimbaCounty, while on her farm where she had gone to get firewood.
Madam Angie Luogon was allegedly murdered on Sunday, November 15, and her blood drained by her assailants. At least four persons have been arrested in connection with the incident, which happened in Gbor-Gbahnwin, electoral district# 7, Nimba.
The killing has been attributed to ritualistic purposes. At the same time a falling tree has knocked down and killed a 57-year-old farmer in Gbedin Camp3 along the Ganta-Sanniquellie highway in Nimba.
Madam Kou Guah, a mother of four, was leading a group of women under a cooperative, who had gone to harvest rice on a farm.
The incident also occurred on Sunday, November 15 as the victim sought shelter under a kitchen when heavy storms blew away a tree that fell on the kitchen, instantly killing her.
