Police Patrolmen say they have discovered 698 rounds of ammunition in Klay District Bomi County.
Addressing a press conference yesterday in Monrovia, acting Police Director Chris Massaquoi told Journalists that the rounds were discovered in a box based on information sharing from community members in the county.
Col. Massaquoi noted that the discovery was in continuation of intense foot patrol by the Police around the country.
The Police boss also said that at least 14 persons have been arrested and are undergoing police investigations in connection to the Nimba County Land dispute that reportedly killed one person with two others seriously injured.
In another development, more than ten suspected criminals, armed robbers and drugs dealers and users were arrested yesterday morning in Paynesville and Old Road communities respectively.
Notwithstanding, Police Officer Lexington Beh is said to be undergoing police probe for allegedly brutalizing a lady and her husband in the Thinkers Village Community.
Col. Chris Massaquoi also said that the Professional Standard Division of the Police is conducting investigation into the claims and will upon completion of the probe, release the findings.
