An eighty-four-years- old grandmother, Mae Horton of the Bye Pass community has been announced winner of the Lonestar Cell MTN text N win promotion for texting only one time.
The leading GSM service provider says, the latest draw demonstrates its commitment to affect all segment of the Liberian society. Madam Horton is said to be the oldest person wining money from Lonestar Cell MTN since the draw started.
Guyvers Jones, a store keeper in Vai Town walked away with LD$ 70,000, during last week draw. Guyvers said he did not believe that he won such amount from Lonestar when he was contacted as the winner for texting 10 messages to 3310 in the text N win.
He said his dream call came from Lonestar Cell came while he and his colleagues were eating in a local chop bar. Other winnersof the week include Musa Kamara of Grand Cape Mount County, and Alfred Johnson of Soul Clinic. Gayflor Johnson of Barnesville was declared the weekly winner after his number appeared on a projector screen during the weekly draw.
Gayflor also won LD$10, 500 and could not receive his money because according to him, he is currently in Rivercess. He sent in only one text message thus qualifying him to get the LD$10,500. A marketing officer of Lonestar Cell MTN, Ibrahim Daramie has urged Lonestar cell subscribers to continue to text the word win to 3310 to be a winner.
