Monrovia, Liberia; August 6, 2025 – The reigning champions of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Women’s Upper Division, Determine Girls FC, will take on Sierra Leone’s Ram Kamara FC today, August 5, 2025, 7:00 PM local time at the Stade Annex Abdoulaye Wade in Dakar, Senegal. The match is part of the WAFU-A Qualifiers for the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Determine Girls FC enters the qualifier as the undisputed powerhouse of Liberian women’s football.

The club recently clinched its fifth consecutive league title, an unprecedented feat in the nation’s women’s football history.

Their dominance was evident throughout the 2024/25 season, where they topped the table with an 11-point lead, winning 18 of their 19 matches and losing just once.

This remarkable run not only underscores their consistency but also puts them within touching distance of making history, with five league titles secured in 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24, and 2024/25.

Determine Girls are now just three championships away from equaling the historic record of eight league titles set by Earth Angels FC.

By winning the 2024/25 LFA Women’s League, Determine Girls FC also made regional history, becoming the first club from the WAFU Zone A to qualify for the CAF Women’s Champions League Zonal Qualifiers, set for Thiès, Senegal.

All eyes will be on the champions as they seek to extend their dominance on the continental stage. Editing by Jonathan Browne
