Former Pres. Weah extends his condolences to the people of Ghana.

Rehab, Monrovia – Former president George M. Weah has conveyed his condolences to the government and people of Ghana following a tragic helicopter crash on Wednesday that claimed the lives of several senior officials.
The former president described their passing as a profound loss and extended his sympathies to the bereaved families.
Among the victims were Ghana’s Defence Minister, Edward Omane Boamah, and the Minister of the Environment, Alhaji Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed.
The helicopter, which had departed from Accra, was en route to a town in the Ashanti region when the accident occurred.
The former president assured Ghanaians of his prayers and solidarity, urging them to find solace in the Lord during this difficult time.- Press release.
