Armature Golfer Wins Tournament

Randolph Maclind, an Armature Golfer of the Firestone-Liberia Golf Club, has won the championship title of the Firestone-Liberia Monthly Golf Competition. Maclind won the championship title on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the Firestone-Liberia Golf Court.  Firestone-Liberia is situated in Harbel City Margibi County.

He played 18 handicaps and potted 77 balls in all 18 holes played that resulted into a net score of 59. He is closely followed at second place by Lee Jan Park, who played 12 handicaps, potted 71 balls and got the net score of 69.

For his part, Yan Wong got a net score of 70. He took the third place.  Well at the end of the one day tournament, Ricks Keller and Lee Jan won the closer Pint and the Longest driver awards respectively.

The tournament is referred to as the Firestone Monthly Golf Tournament. It is sponsored and organized by the management of Firestone for working class people to interact with people of their class and ease stress and improve physical fitness.
