Ballah Zayzay’s incomplete projects worry Margibi youth

Hundreds of youth in Margibi County electoral District #2 say they are worried over the fate of several incomplete developmental projects left behind by the district’s outgoing Representative Mr. Ballah Zayzay.

Speaking in Cotton Tree Community of Harbel, Margibi County over the weekend, youth leader Thomas Nadoe expressed fear as to whether Representative – elect Alpha K. Jones would complete the projects left behind by his predecessor.

Rep. Zayzay lost the district seat this October to independent candidate Mr. Jones following the 10 October polls.

Mr. Nadoe names the construction of primary schools, markets, farm-to-market roads, and scholarships, among others as some of the things left behind by the defeated incumbent lawmaker.

He adds that in order for the peace being enjoyed by residents in the county to be maintained, Representative – elect Mr. Jones should do everything humanly possible to complete his predecessor’s unfinished development projects for use by the people.

The Margibi youth also encouraged all seven candidates who participated in the election but lost to cooperate with the incoming representative of the district to fast track the development agenda of the county.

Meanwhile, the youth are calling for a peace and reconciliatory talk between the Representative – elect Mr. Jones and his opponents so as to resolve whatsoever political differences they may have during the election process.
