Barrolle, IE In Unity Fest Final

The final of the Unity Fest best out of three tournaments between IE and Mighty Barrolle come on today at the Antoinette Tubman stadium (ATS). Mighty Barrolle is leading with 4 points, one goal from two matches against the Yellow Boys.

They drew 0-0 with IE on Christmas Day and returned four days later for the second leg won 1-0 by Mighty Barrolle. The second leg displayed lots of skills and control on the field of play, as well as pressure from both clubs regarding participation fees.

The match is expected to be tense today, as IE will be ensuring that the last match result is over-turned in their favor for the trophy. In their last games, Lone Star’s Under-23 striker Dweh Allison came close to target on a number of occasions for IE, but wasted most of the chances.

Mighty Barrolle is eyeing a draw to walk home with the giant-size trophy. IE’s youthful striker Omo Dean is expected to implement his long range shooting ability and free kick tactics today to aid IE’s victory, while, Mighty Barrolle will be led in attack by their Swedish-Based attacker Amadaiya Rennie, who Surfaced last week in the Rollers’ number 9 jerseys. Rennie presence on the pitch provided quality football for Barrolle. IE needs 2 goals to stop Barrolle.
