Blidi Doe Keeps Scoring

American 3rd division side, United FC’s Liberian striker Blidi Doe is making marks in the Aurel All-Star Indoor Soccer. The tournament is a round-robin event with eight teams involved.

Doe has since netted six goals in four matches in the tournament. The club is currently pocketing 7 points from 4 appearances.  He scored his first goal against Richmond City FC in their opening match.  His 78th minute goal sealed their first victory of the tournament.

Doe was on target for the second time during their second fixture against 1888-celtic FC, netting a high trick to increase his standing to four goals. The tournament is organized by the Aurel All-Star Indoor Soccer Association during every winter season in the United States.

The tournament is being played at Humm Ginter Park in Maryland. Doe, a former player of Conqueror FC in New Kru 3rd division league, also played for Volunteer FC in the same area before moving to the United States.

Doe is just one of several Liberians playing soccer across the United States. According to the forward, he is using the tournament to test his legs, since he returned from injury about two months ago.
