Boakai will do better than Ellen

The Margibi County branch of the governing Unity Party or UP has indicated that Vice President Joseph NyumahBoakai will do better than President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, if given the opportunity comes 2017 to lead the country.

Mr. Jeremiah Quaye told reporters in Kakata, Margibi County recently that UP partisans stand to benefit 100 percent under a Boakai-led presidency. He said though partisans are benefiting under President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, but it is not going to be compared to benefits they will enjoy when V.P. Boakai takes up the mantle of authority.

Jeremiah noted that he is a member of the party and knows what has been unfolding, adding that President Sirleaf is working very hard to ensure majority of the partisans benefit, but her impact will not be compared to Boakai.

Chairman Quaye: “Hundred percent partisans did not benefit but President Sirleaf did her best to make sure to satisfy most partisans. But I am telling you that this man that we know that cares for partisans, he will make sure that hundred percent of the partisans benefit, he will do [so] and we have that trust and confidence in him.”

According to him, President Sirleaf is “John the Baptist” but V.P. Boakai will be the “Messiah.”
