Bong citizens urged to seek good leadership

An eminent resident of Bong County, Moima Briggs Mensah, has urged the people of Bong to ask God for a better leadership in the county. She made the call on Monday, August 24, in Felen’s Town, Salala District, Lower Bong County during celebration of National Flag Day.

Madam Mensah told the citizens that with prayers, God would send them leaders with wisdom to address problems confronting the county. The ceremony was attended by citizens from various parts of Salala District, pre-dominantly women.

Prior to the indoor speeches, Madam Mensah led a parade by citizens in the main street of Salala. She called on the citizens to unite and pray for one another to enjoy long life and God’s blessings. Few of the citizens, who spoke with this paper during the program, catalogued problems they are faced with and appealed to Madam Mensah for assistance.
