Bong lawmakers dedicate $72k bridge

Bong County Electoral District #2 Rep. Prince KeamueMoye in collaboration with Senator Henry W. Yallah has constructed and dedicated a $72,000 United States Dollars modern bridge for the people of that District.

The NewDawn’s Bong County correspondent says the bridge links Tomue Clan with several other clans in the area. Giving the overview of the project over the weekend in Tomue Clan, Rep. Moye explained that the bridge is jointly constructed by him and Sen. Yallah through combined budgetary allotments.

During the dedication, Rep. Moye thanked Mr. Emmanuel Edward Gboe for previously constructing a mini bridge in the area. Rep. Moye cautioned authorities of the clan and the district as a whole to play a pivotal role in the sustenance of the bridge, saying his office through Sen. Yallah has attracted more developments in the district.

While cutting ribbons to the newly constructed bridge, Bong County Senator Henry Yallah praised the citizens of the area for their role in the implementation of project. The Chairman on Public Works and Co-chair on Ways, Means and Finance at the Liberian Senate assured citizens of the District that he will continuously liaise with his colleagues so as to improve the livelihoods of his people.
