Bong Paramount Chief on 2014 pitfalls

Bong County’s Suakoko Chiefdom Paramount Chief Arthur Wennah has described the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus disease as the major challenge that confronted the District in 2014.

Paramount Chief Wennah, speaking to our correspondent last weekend in the District, termed as an embarrassment, the outbreak of the Ebola virus in the Country, indicating that due to spread of the virus several progressive projects in the District were stalled.

Paramount Chief Wennah further noted that the situation caused serious developmental setbacks for the district, saying he could not tour the district as he usually did to discuss development programs relating to the district because of the Ebola virus.

According to the Suakoko Paramount Chief, despite the number of difficulties faced in 2014, there were little gains made, to include the continuous Ebola awareness, as well as the coordination of his district staff.
