Rep. Adam Bill Corneh
Bong County Representative Adam Bill Corneh has made a number of donations to residents of Salala District. The donations recently began at the Martha Tubman High School in Salala Town, with 50 bags of cement.
The donations were made through his office staff, to Save Home Children Village, an orphanage home in Felela, Bong County where ten bags of 25kg rice, along with some cash. In Kpa-kolokowueya-ta, representative donated bundles of zinc, steel rods and another 50 bags of cement for a mosque project.
In seperate responses, the Martha Tubman School expressed gratitude to the Bong County Representative for the donation, saying it did not take them as a surprise because they were aware of his continuous gestures to the people of the district.
They said the 50 bags of cement will be used to construct a building in his honor for being a humanitarian.At the Save Home Children Village, the authorities thanked him, promising to use the rice for the well being of the children. They prayed for the restoration of his health, having been ill for some times now.
The people of Kpa-kolokoqueya-ta, recounted his numerous achievements, appreciating him and promising to support him in all good and bad times. Speaking to this paper recently following the donations in his district, the Representative Conneh assured that he would always be prepared to do more for his people, as long as he lives to be their leader and son from the district.
He, however, thanked the Almighty God for his life, saying a protracted illness has kept him down for a very long time. Asked whether he would contest the 2017 election as a representative candidate of the district, he responded in the affirmative, noting that if the people who elected him wanted him back as they did in the past, he would.
