Bong County Service Center through the Liberia Revenue Authority has released its progress report for the Month of June 2019, announcing that it generated LRD$1,566,689.26 plus US$1,580.00 as total revenues.
Speaking in an interview with our correspondent in Bong County on 7 August, Bong County Service Center Coordinator Jefferson Gbaryan said in the month of June, the Center offered services to 692end users in the county.
According to him, out of the 692 end users, there were 461 males, 228 females and three Couples.
According to Mr. Gbaryan, out of the LRD$1,566,689.26 and US$1,580.00, the Ministry of Transport was generated LRD$1,442, 196.60 plus US$1, 500.
He notes that Transport Ministry was followed by the Ministry of Commerce with LRD$223, 325.00 and the Liberia Land Authority which generated LRD$116,462.00.Mr. Gbayan reveals that the Bong County Service Center in the Month of June 2019 started its regular radio program awareness in accordance with the memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Management of Kwatekeh FM.
He further said during the Month of June 2019, the Liberia Revenue Authority issued the total Flag Receipt of 275 end user.
Meanwhile, Mr. Gbaryan reiterated that the Service Center has not been able to offer services for the ECOWAS Biometric Identification, Adult Birth Certificates, Driver’s Licenses, Business Certificate, Contractors Certificate and the Liberia Forestry Development Authority.
He explains that the issue of utility vehicle is one of the top priorities to help reach those places where there will be less attention by the radio.
Additionally, he says the increment of salaries and benefits should be seriously considered so as to motivate the County Service Center staff in the discharge of their respective duties in the County.
