Boy, 4, Found Dead in Church’s Compound

The F.D. Walker Memorial Temple Church of Pentecost in the Clara Town, Bushrod Island Community was the scene of sorrow and total surprise when  a four year old-boy who had gone missing for four days, was discovered dead within the church’s premises.

A Little Tito Nimely’s body was found at about 10:pm local time on Sunday.

According to family sources, Nimely, a student of the Agarty Day Care Community Institute in the same community, reportedly left his parents’ home last Wednesday without returning until he was found dead.

Some family members of the deceased have reportedly accused the leadership of the church of responsibility for the mysterious death of Little Tito.

“I am a member of this church, and my son- Tito is a member of this church too; this is not the first time for such incident to take place here,” said Mr. Moses Nimely-father of the dead child, further noting that a similar incident happened some years back when a member of the church went missing for two weeks only to be found dead within the church’s compound.

Nimely pointed accusing-fingers at the leadership of the church for its role in the death of the son, further explaining, in tears, told this paper that body of his son was tampered with. He named his eyes, fingers, tongue and other sensitive parts abstracted.

Commenting on the child’s death in an interview, the Commander of the Clara Town Police Depot, Mark Jerry who was also on the scene during the discovery, told this paper that the leadership of the church refused to respond to the allegation, confirming that the body of the four year-old boy was indeed found within the premises of the church.

Major Jerry said officials of the church were answerable to both parents and the government in view of the fact that the body was discovered in the church’s compound, suggesting that they also refused to reveal the remains of Little Tito to Police officers who first appeared on the scene. Investigation continues.
