Liberia bus to the future entered day six Saturday taking Buchanan, Grand Bassa County by storm following a late night entry on October 1, 2011 to the rousing welcomed of hundreds of citizens.

Bus to the future is a 10-day nationwide tour being explored by Liberian youth and students’ movement for the purpose of showcasing the achievements of Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Unity Party (UP) led government.

On board the bus are students and youth from Liberia’s 15 political subdivisions. Bus to the future is also affording Liberians, especially rural dwellers a unique opportunity to understand and identify tangible milestones of the UP led government.

Led by former student leader, now UP stalwart Amara Konneh and Dr. James Kollie, the bus is soliciting votes for the re-election of Madam Sirleaf.

Meanwhile, citizens of Margibi, Bong, Nimba and Grand Bassa Counties have lauded the youths and students for what they described as a civilized and democratic manner they have boosted the second term campaign of Madam Sirleaf.

The nationwide tour which was officially launched in Kakata, Margibi County on September 27, 2011 has already made significant impacts in four counties including Nimba, Grand Bassa, and Bong.

The tour is expected to continue today in Montserrado County following the bus’ departure from Grand Bassa. Bus to the future will tomorrow reach out to Tubmanburg, Clay and other areas in Bomi County.
