Busy Weekend for Laffor, Others

Captain Anthony Laffor’s revitalization process will be tested on Saturday in another league match in South Africa. The Liberian returned to club action for SuperSport United last weekend, alongside Moroka Swallows FC in a 1-1 away game.

The club faces Platinum Stars FC at their Luca Masterpieces Moripe Stadium on Saturday.  The South African Champions are positioning 9th on the table, with 12 points from 9 meetings.

In the 1st division, Liberian Abu Sando with Aziz Kara will not be in league action until next January. In Mali, two Liberians-Amadu Conneh and Melvin Kesman, will take center stage in Bacraejan FC on Sunday during their 4th league encounter.

The Liberians are new signings for the Malian first division club. In Cape Verde, two Liberians will be justifying their inclusion, during a league action. Striker Alex Orville Moore and midfielder Ndefi Kwai, freshly signed with 2nd division side, La Paloma FC based in Praia, Cape Verde.

In Israel, defender Gizzie Dorbor of 7th place Hapoel Herzliya FC will job at the left-back during their home encounter with Hapoel Rishon Lezion FC tomorrow. A win for Hapoel Herzliya FC will put them 5th on the table with one match for the X-Mas break.

Former LISCR FC striker, Ben Martin will become visible in right attack for Hapoel Nazareth FC during their away fight to Beitar Shimshon FC.  Hapoel Nazareth FC earned her second victory of the league on Dec-3-2010 after they dismantled visiting side, Hapoel Bnei Lod FC in a 4-1 session.

Two Liberians were named among Hapoel Kfar Saba FC 18 man delegation to honor the club’s 14th league fixture away to Maccabi Beer Sheva FC on Saturday.

The Israel national football league second top scorer Patrick Doeplah and defender George Baysah will feature in the last game for the club for the x-Mas break.

Patrick Doeplah, 20, has been considered by Lone Star head coach Bicskei to join the national under-23 in their home encounter with Sierra Leone’s Under-23 on Dec 19, 2010. Both players will arrive in the country next week.

Baysah will be on vacation, while Doeplah will be on national team duty before his vacation enjoyment. Ankaragucu FC Liberian midfielder Tonia Tisdell is expected in Monrovia to company with the Under-23 side also.

The midfielder formed part of the Under-23 which drew with Sierra Leone 1-1. This 2nd leg is December 19, 2010 at the SKD stadium.
