Four of the 19 persons seriously injured as a result of the Kennedy Sandy campaign tragedy in Vonzula Town in Garwula District, Grand Cape Mount County are reported to have died at the JFK Medical Center and Redemption Hospital.
Though the names of the additional dead were not made available to this paper yesterday, they are said to be members of the Kennedy Sandy camp who had joined the awaiting citizens as an advanced team for his arrival Tuesday.
“All that I can tell is that there were two girls among those who died at the hospitals,” spokesperson of Vonzula Town, Abraham Nyei explained yesterday.
According to him, the additional dead were not citizens of the area, as no one from the two towns could identify them.

Kennedy Sandy dispatched a delegation to Vonzula Town on Wednesday to sympathize with the bereaved families, as well as those seriously injured. Meanwhile, the LTP Presidential Hopeful is expected to visit Vonzula today to show concern and sympathize with bereave families.
Nyei: “More people really want to see this wonderful man whose business death has visited Vonzula Town, and some family members of the dead want to see him too, to hear what he will really say to them.” This brings to 15 the number of dead as a result of the Kennedy Campaign tragedy.
Nine students were among 11 persons initially killed when a Toyota Land Cruiser ambulance ran into a crowd of 700 people, who had gathered in Vonzula Town in Garwula District in Grand Cape Mount County to await the arrival of the LTP Standard Bearer. Police are still investigating the accident.
