Careysburg Hosts Corporate Tournament

A one day corporate soccer tournament organized by the Seys United Methodist Church takes place this Friday at the Careysburg Sports pitch in Careysburg City outside Monrovia.

According to a release issued in Monrovia yesterday, the tournament which is the third of its kind is a yearly fund-raising program of the Seys United Methodist Church.

Despite the fact that the tournament will be play in the absent of its current host, it is expected to feature four teams including; Lone Star Cell/MTN, Careysburg City, Cellcom and Comium.

The release states that the said corporate institutions as teams will have to play a knock-out league because it is a one day tournament.

It is expected to begin at 12:30 PM with the blue and yellow boys of Lone Star Cell/MTN taking on the Congo boys of Careysburg City in game one. Game two will oppose the orange boys of Comium to the Red Boys of Cellcom.

At 3:30 PM soccer enthusiasts would have gather around the Careysburg sports pitch as loser one will lash out her frustrations on loser two.

The last match of the day will be at 5:00 pm this time around the question will be how did you get here? As winner one clashes with winner two in the grand final of the tournament.

Already the teams are said to be in high spirit for the tournament and employees of Lone Star Cell/MTN, Cellcom and Comium have began all necessary preparations in as Careysburg City comes alive with lots and lots of soccer excitements this Friday April 9, 2010.
