CDC halts major press conference

Ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) failed to conduct a much publicized press conference on Monday, 16 April after several hours of delays.

Party Chairman Mulbah K. Morlu is said to have invited all party “gladiators, ideologues, party leaders, well-wishers, members of the indefatigable movement” to a special press conference attended by local and foreign media institutions at CDC Headquarters in Congo Town, suburb of Monrovia.

The ruling party chairman was expected to speak on trending national issues, but the press conference was postponed after journalists waited for hours.
