Clergy cautions believers

The senior pastor of the Conquerors Assembly of God Church in the Samuel K. Doe Community on Bushrod Island, Rev. Esther S. P. Teh has cautioned believers here to wake up and do more in serving God, warning that Jesus Christ is coming with his reward.

Delivering a sermon at the Church’s 8th Anniversary celebration on Sunday, 9 April under the theme “Enlarge the place of thy tent” from Isaiah 54:2-6, Rev. Teh urged that believers in the church and Liberians in general love each other and be united so that God can bless and lift them up.

Rev. Teh told the congregation to work harder to bring people to Christ, and cautioned that believers need to live the life worthy of God’s calling if they must tell others about God’s words. She said when a believer lives the life worthy of God’s calling, there will be no room for the abundant blessings that God has for him or her. But to get such reward from God, she admonished that it requires patience, noting that enemies will fight but they will be defeated by God.

The 8th Anniversary celebration on Sunday began with parade from Clara Town Gas Station with a band and climaxed at the church in Doe Community on Bushrod Island.
Other churches and individuals in Montserrado County District #14 were invited at the event.
