Students of Cuttington University in Suakoko, Bong County have honored the President Pro-Tempore of the Liberian Senate for his enormous contribution to the school. According to the students, President Pro Temp Armah Zulu Jallah has always assisted students of the institution and never stop coming to their calls.

They described Senator Jallah as a true national leader, calling on others to emulate his excellent relationship with the student community not just at Cuttington University, but Liberia. The Vice President of the Cuttington University student government, Sieh Dorbor, said the lawmaker has always assisted them as far back as four student governments ago.

As he was gowned and certificated, Pro Temp Jallah praised the students for recognizing his work with the student community, promising his unwavering support to the Cuttington University student government and the Liberian student community.

“I dedicate this honor to all those who believe in justice and the development of Liberia,” he stated, indicating that students have crucial roles to play in the development of their country. When asked by journalists about the Global Witness report, the President Pro Temp added that it was premature to keep calling for the removal of officials accused when they are not guilty.
