Cuttington university donates Bong health team

The administration of Cuttington University has donated over fifty gallons of fuel to the Bong County health team as part of efforts to make the fight against the deadly Ebola virus more progressive. Cuttington University also provided over fifty gallons of fuel to the administration of Bong County.

Speaking in an interview with a local radio station in Gbarnga, Bong County following the donation, Cuttington’s Public Relations Officer Prince Sampson said the university recognizes the need to join the fight against Ebola, noting that Cuttington University as an academic institution, believes the fight against Ebola must be collective.

The CU PRO also disclosed that in addition to the fuel donations, the Cuttington University administration also committed itself to the providing over two hundred kilograms of assorted vegetables from its agriculture college farm.

Meanwhile, the university Administration, University has suspended normal academic activities in observance of the ninety-day state of emergency declared on August 6 by the President of Liberia. The administration assured that it remains law abiding, as well as welcoming the decision of the president during this critical national crisis.
