Deputy NPA boss donate’s US$6,000 to Phebe Lutheran School

Deputy National Port Authority Managing Director YekehForkpah has presented US$6,000 to the Phebe Community Lutheran High School in Suakoko, Bong County. Presenting the money to the school’s administration at an elaborate program over the weekend, Mr. Forkpa said the gesture is to assist the school change its dilapidated zinc.

The deputy NPA boss said he attended the school, but left when he was in the eighth grade. According to him, he feels sad to see the school’s roof in a very dilapidated condition after many years.

Mr. Forkpah pledged his continuous support to the institution, but clarified that his contribution is far away from politics, especially the 2017 polls. Forkpah said he feels obligated to an institution like the Phebe community Lutheran High School that laid his educational foundation.

Receiving the money, the Principal of the school Mr. John Kolleh commended Mr. Forkpah for the donation and called on others to do likewise. Mr. Kolleh promised to immediately commence the roofing of the school building as funding has been made available.
