Deputy Speaker Moye donates medical equipment in Bong

Deputy House Speaker Prince Kermue Moye in partnership with an international organization Matal has donated huge consignment of medical equipment to the women group of Bong County for onward distribution to health facilities there.

Some of the items donated include, 27 cartoons of examiner gloves, 18 cartoons of ear-masks, 13 cartoons of patient lineup and gowns, and wheelchairs, among others.

Several health institutions in Bong County including C.B. Dunbar and Phebe Hospital are expected to benefit from the medical supplies.

Making the presentation recently in Gbarnga, Deputy Speaker Moye’s National Media Consultant Jutomue Martin Larwor stated that the presentation of the medical items were some of the benefits of his boss’ recent visit to U.S. Congressman Eric Paulson in the United States.

He says Mr. Moye lobbied with some international institutions including Matal which is said to be shipping drugs and equipment to the office of Mr. Moye.
Matal is said to be engaged in supplying medical equipment to several African Countries.

Taking delivery of the medical equipment on behalf of the Development Education Network of Liberia (DEN-L) and a women group, DEN-L former Executive Director Madam Dorothy Tooman intimated that there is strength in unity.

According to her, a son of Bong County Dennis Garsini and part of the Matal organization in the U.S has always been in the vanguard of working with partners and Liberians to ship medical materials to the Country.
