Encouraging Results Surfacing

Many Liberian internationals are starting on a bright note in their respective leagues. In Israel, Ben Martin Points donor club Hapoel Nazareth Illit FC has secured two wins since the resumption of that league’s second phase. The club won away to home side Ironi Bat Yam FC .

The win gives Hapoel Nazareth Illit 7points and 5 points away from escaping relegation. The team loss 10 points after an investigation by the Israeli FA found it guilty of foul play. Patrick Doeplah side Hapoel Kfar Saba FC also secured one draw and a win in the second half of the league.

The Liberian attacker is yet to net home a goal in the second phase but has continued to play supportive role. Defender George Baysah is yet to gain action since he returned to the club from vacation on Dec-28-2010. Baysah have been out of three club actions, one in the State Cup and two in the national league.

Gizzie Dorbor on the other side of Israel was in winning action with Hapoel Herzilya FC during their 1-0 crashing of home side Maccabi Herzeliya FC. In Greece, Solomon Grimes side Ethnikos Pireaus FC won away to Agrotikos Asteras; it was the club’s second game of the second phase.

Solomon Grimes missed the club’s first match due to his flight arrival back on base. Isaac Popu club Panionios FC fell away 1-0. The club is struggling to leave relegation zone. In Egypt, Weaka Wisseh club side Mareehk lost 4-2 away to Zefta FC on Tuesday. The club defeat away made it sixth negative result of the season. Mareehk FC is pocketing 9 points.
