Esteemed Gentlemen holds annual retreat in Ganta

The Monrovia-based Esteemed Gentlemen Organization convenes its second Annual Retreat in Ganta, Nimba County from Friday, August 24 to Sunday August 26.

The organization is a non-political and multicultural social organization of middle to senior level professional men established in 2014 to foster brotherly ties, to give charity to the needy, conduct young men mentoring among others.

As part of this year’s retreat, the group is expected to execute series of programs including a business session; an indoor program; professional networking in Ganta; charity to orphanages and Liberia’s biggest leprosy colony; a lecture session to a select youth on patriotism and free medical outreach.

“Giving to the needy is one of the core values of the organization and more than two hundred persons have been targeted to receive charity from Esteemed Gentlemen. We will be sponsoring free minor surgeries for about 50 persons that will be performed by a team of medical personnel,” says Esteemed Gentlemen Chairman, Senesee Freeman.

“We will do some outreach activities including a football match with the Gompa Oldtimers Sports Association to build a collaboration of men in Ganta who share similar objectives with Esteemed Gentlemen”. Chairman Freeman disclosed.

The first Annual Retreat of the Esteemed Gentlemen Organization held in June 2017 in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
