Martin Kandu Fails Tryouts

Mighty Barrolle holding midfielder Martin Kandu has returned home from Norway and Sweden respectively where he has been honoring tryouts with several clubs through the negotiation of Monrovia FC CEO Wilhelm Myrer.

Martin Kandu departed Monrovia early last month along with Prince Somah and Kpah Sherman to honor tryouts in Norway, but Martin delayed in Liberia due to the slow process of getting Norwegian Visas from the local consulate in Monrovia, and had to travel to Nigeria for the visas.

The defensive midfielder was the last player of the delegation to arrive in Sweden because he was honoring a tryout in the northern part of Norway.  He later arrived in Sweden and stopped over with Amadaiya Rennie his best friend.

According to plan, Kandu was to head straight to Eliasson Tore that was awaiting him to take in for his Swedish tryout, but Tore explained that Kandu listened to Amadaiya Rennie that introduced him (Martin Kandu) to the Nigerian agent called Okeke.

The Nigerian took him to DIK a Swedish outfit, but the club refused to sign the Liberian after they discovered the Nigerian was not the official agent or manager of the player. Martin was sent back to Liberia from Sweden on Friday due to what is referred to be disloyalty from the upcoming Liberian defensive midfielder.
