Former Senator pours out frustration

Former Bong County Senator Franklin Siakor has described the decision by the President of Liberia to head the National Ebola task force as political. Siakor said, the decision was only intended to show citizens that the Liberian Government was very serious in the Ebola fight.

The former Bong County Senator and now Political leader of the Opposition Liberty Party urged President Sirleaf and her Taskforce to attach urgency to the fight against the deadly Ebola virus, stressing that there was a serious need for the government to attach urgency to the Ebola fight because ordinary citizens were dying on a daily basis from other illnesses attributed to Ebola.

The LP Political leader also called on the government to provide more training for health workers as the Ebola virus was strange in this part of the World, also emphasizing more training for them.

Siakor described the continued refusal of President Sirleaf to accept recent expert predication that the Ebola virus disease could get worse before getting better in Liberia if efforts were not redoubled other than consider such as an affront.
