Fulanis arrested for murder
The Liberia National Police (LNP) has arrested a 30 year- old Guinean national identified as Samad Salieu, a resident of West Point community, for allegedly stabbing 31 – year – old fellow Guinean national, Alpha Jalloh to death.
Suspect Samad Salieu was arrested on 26 November 2018 at about 2200hrs in the West Point Community after he allegedly stabbed victim Alpha Jalloh.
Police say as a result of the stabbing, victim Jalloh sustained injury and was immediately rushed to the JFK Hospital where he was pronounced dead by Doctors on call.
Suspect Samad Salieu has been taken in police custody at the LNP Headquarters undergoing investigation.
In a related development, the Margibi County Police Detachment has charged four alleged suspected criminals with terroristic threat and criminal trespass.The suspects have been forwarded to Court in Kakata, Margibi County for prosecution.
Suspect Abraham Beneh, John David, Mary Kolleh and Mary Peter were arrested on 24 November following a land dispute around the Gboco Farm, Bong Mines Road that resulted into violence.–Press release
