Ganta Methodist School Gets Computers, Textbooks

The Ganta United Methodist High School in Ganta, Nimba County has received several pieces of computers, including a consignment of textbooks donated by alumni of the school.

Speaking to reporters after a formal presentation, alumni Roland Sumowood, stressed the importance of giving back to the institution that contributed to his academic sojourn.

Sumowood returned from home recently from the United States after more than 40 years and said that he is back to Liberia to help contribute to the country’s rebuilding process.

Sumowood, who graduated from the Ganta United Methodist High School in the 50s, has expressed interest in working with students of the school in the area of sports development.
