GC holds another policy dialogue today
The Governance Commission or GC will today, Tuesday, February 2, hold another policy dialogue on the topic “Strengthening the electoral management system with respect to enhancing civic and voter education; a panacea to sustaining Liberia electoral democracy.”
A press release from the Commission says the dialogue is expected to begin at 9 a.m. at the Bella Casa Hotel on 3rd Street in Sinkor. The National Elections Commission or NEC, is expected to make presentation on its package on civic and voter education for 2017.
The dialogue will be moderated by Hon. Sam Joe, a commissioner of the NEC. Political parties and civic society organizations have been invited to actively participate in the discussion. GC says all attendees are encouraged to make inputs critical to sustaining Liberia electoral democracy.Press release
