A 15-year old girl, Salina Princess Teah, was reportedly found dead in a septic-tank in Duport Road, Paynesville. Acting Media Relations Director at the Liberia National Police, Lewis Norman told the New Dawn that the girl was discovered dead Tuesday morning at 5am by a resident, Stephen Wonbakollie.
According to him, the parents of the deceased had taken her remains to a funeral home, but did not identify which. Salina’s parents reportedly revealed to police investigators that she had been an epileptics (spell) patient.
However, the actual cause of Salina’s death has not been established, but police are still investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, a lady is reported to have been raped Tuesday morning by 3 suspected armed robbers in Congo Town. Police authorities say the suspects took away a chain valued at US$950.00 and other valuables.
The victim, 26, is said to be under protective police custody, while at the same time undergoing medical treatment at a local hospital. Police Spokesman Norman said the alleged armed robbers are still on the run.
