The Liberia National Police says it has discovered at least 385 live rounds of GMG in Toe Town, Grand Gedeh County. But police has not linked any suspect to the latest discovery made so far.
The Spokesman of Police George Bardue told our reporter Thursady that the discovery was made by oficers of the Emergency Response Unit (ERU) while on security patrol.
Bardue said the ERU officers got a tip-off, and made a speedy response at which time they uncovered the rounds behind a tree. He said the rounds were still in Grand Gedeh under police protection, and would be brought to Monrovia later. The police have, however, said there were no arms found along with the GMG live rounds.
