He said repairs work on the City Hall ball-room which temporarily host hearing of cases at the 7th Judiciary Circuit Court is ongoing. The Court has been working from the City Hall ball-room for the past 13 years and improving the condition in the wake of the President’s trip, is a welcome development in the county, the GSA official said.
According to the County authorities, the old City Hall located at the government compound on DeSuah Street, will also be renovated for use by other Courts.
Meanwhile, massive preparation to give Zwedru a face lift for the retreat is ongoing with the painting of sidewalks, drawing and the erecting of traffic signals at every Street in the city.
One group that is undertaking the self-help initiative is the Friends of Marshall Dennis for Development (FMDD). They said that they are carrying out the cleaning-up exercise including painting of the Gunny Bridge with the national color of Red, White and Blue.
