Guinea Hunts Liberian To Naturalize

A 22 year-old Liberian winger playing  with Kaya FC in the Philippines has been approached by the Guinean FA for naturalization. Alex Fallah, a former player of Regent Boys Club (RCB) is playing on a Guinean passport with the name (Fayah Alex Camara), which he received last year October.

Fallah last played for Regent Club Boys FC known as (RCB) in Central Monrovia from 1998 to 2001. The winger moved to Ghana in 2002 and signed with Kiawu FC for a season.

He had a call from Malian side, USFAC the military club. The attacker later traveled to Nigeria where he secured a deal with Zabgai FC of Bauchi Nigeria, a team then coached by the late Liberian goalie, Boy Cooper.

Fallah moved to Cameroon, signing with Tiko united FC on a short deal. After 5 years of African soccer experience, the former RCB attacker returned to Liberia, registering with Roots Football Club for one season.

In 2007, Fallah traveled to Gambia to justify with Lamie United FC, which hired his signature. The player surfaced in Morocco after completing his short-term contract with Lamie United in the Gambia.

Fallah forward his career to the Philippines where he now plays for Kaya FC in that country’s 1st division. Alex Fallah attended the Kalita high school, Rock International high school and the (William Booth) Salvation Army all in Paynesville, outside Monrovia.

Bob Zeo  Targets CAF’s Champions League

Gabonese champions, US Sportive Bitam’s Liberian forward, Bob Zeo is preparing to resume training for the upcoming CAF champions league.  The player was sidelined during their sixth Gabonese league action against Stade Mandji FC on Dec-28-2010.

US Sportive Bitam takes on Cameroonian side, Astres FC at their Gabonese national stadium on the 27 of January and will play away to the Cameroonians on the 10th of February 2011.

Bob Zeo has been supportive in the team’s domestic league, opening the league with a 2-2 encounter at home with visiting side, Mounna FC on Nov-27-2010. The striker saw his first league defeat when US Bitam fell on Dec-4-2010 away to En Avant Estuaire 0-1. The club earned its first win of the season on Dec-10-2010 during their 2-0 home match with Missile.

US Bitam welcomed USM Libreville at home, increasing their points with a 2-1 victory on Dec-18-2010. Bob Zeo was in action on Christmas Day for US Bitam as they drew 1-1 in their third home match against Mangasport FC. The club earned their third win of the season on Dec-28-2010 against Stade Mandji FC, and is 4th on the table with 11 points from six games.

Results From Egypt’s 2nd Division

Nuzohn Kulala’s division two sides, Ghazl El Mehalla earned their 7th win of the season on Wednesday. They were at home during their 3-2 thrashing of visitors El Mansura.

The club has played 10 matches since the start of the season, winning seven and drawing three. Nuzohn Kulala side is yet to experience defeat this season. Yao Abblode participated in his club’s away defeat to Olympi FC 0-1. Malia Sporting Club has honored 10 matches, managing four wins-one at home and three away.

The club has suffered four defeats- one at home and three away.  Currently, the club is  pocketing 15 points and positing 6th on the league table. Weaka Wisseh’s club, El Mareekh settled to a 0-0 away draw on Wednesday to Cement Suez. El Mareekh  are 10 points from 11 games, winning two and drawing four. They fell in five games.

Isaac Popo, Others In Championship Actions

Two Liberians  will go into action tomorrow in the South African league. Abu Sando of first division club Aziz Kara will start in his team’s lineup the second phase of league against Jomo Cosmo. Aziz Kara is in 7th position on the table, with 10 points from ten games.

Anthony Laffor will also lead SuperSports’ attack, as they battle with Orlando Pirates at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. SuperSports will play without their center back, Bongani Khumalo  who left for the English premiership during the break. In Greece, three Liberians are projected to show case in the Greek leagues.

Isaac Pupo may be in Panionios FC starting line-up during their home clash with Xanthi FC. The club is 14th on the table, with 16 points from sixteen games. In the second league, Solomon Grimes will be maneuvering to avoid another defeat in one week.

His club, Ethinkos FC dropped points on Wednesday to Ilioupoli FC 0-1 at home, and will travel to Agrotikos Asteras FC on Sunday. Ethinkos FC is holding 14 points from 16 games played in the Greek league-B. George Boe of Aetos FC will travel away to face 13th place Ethnikos Filippiada FC.

Aetos FC is hoping to keep at the top of the table, as they continue the title race. In Israel, Ben Martin’s  side, Hapoel Nazerath Illit is  paired against Maccabi Iron Bat Yam for Saturday’s encounter. Gizzie Dorbor of Hapoel Herzilya FC is due for his 17th league cap away to Maccabi Herzilya FC.

Patrick Doeplah is scheduled to earn his 17th form with Hapoel Kfar Saba away to Beitar Shimshon FC on Saturday. George Baysah is struggling to surface in Hapoel Kfar Saba’s line-up since he returned from the holidays. The club is second on the league table, with 34 points from 16 matches.
