Holistic Approach a possible way against Ebola

Vice President, Ambassador Joseph Nyumah Boakai has told the people of Bong County that a holistic approach is the best way possible in the fight against Ebola in the country. Vice President Boakai attributed the high death toll in the country to the scaring nature of the Ebola outbreak. He urged Liberians to be united with all forms of divisions aside in the fight against the deadly disease.

According to him, the faster Liberia can tackle Ebola, it would also help stop deaths as a result of curable illnesses, recommitting the government’s unflinching support to tackling Ebola. He assured that the government was working with friends and partners worldwide to ensure that the crisis is brought to an end.

Ambassador Boakai admonished Liberians to continue their farming and other activities with caution, warning that abandoning normal activities would create serious problems for the Liberian economy.  He spokes recently in Gbarnga during a stopover visit to Bong County while in route to Lofa County.
