Girl suffers horrible gashing in Grand. Gedeh

Reports say Police in Grand Gedeh County have arrested a female student on allegation of gashing a fellow student with a razor blade.

Sources said the suspect is a 22 year old senior student of the RB Richardson Baptist high school who has been arrested for allegedly gashing her brother in law daughter.

Rita saylee the victim was rushed at the Martha Tubman Memorial hospital on Saturday night at 9PM when she was gash with razor blade on her face and breast several times.

According to eye witnesses in the area, the victim was heard screaming in her room for help when they got there and saw her bleeding but the alleged perpetrator said her action came as a result of Rita constant abusive languages against her.

But police in Zwedru have charged the alleged perpetrator Musu Johnson with aggravated assault and criminal attempt to commit murder and is expected to be sent to court for trial. But parent of the victim is calling for a fair trial as undisclosed information reaching our desk says the perpetrator parents are secretly going to the police to allow her sit the WASSCE.
