Huge Single Barrel Rounds Arrested

The Joint- security assigned at the Ganta Check Point in Nimba County has arrested thirteen cartoons of single barrel rounds. According to the Ganta joint-Security, suspect Makonie Dolley was arrested with the huge consignment while enroot to Monrovia. According to our correspondent in the County, the three cartoons of single barrel rounds is valued at US$3, 250.00.

The source of rounds is yet unknown, but the arrest created panic among residents of the community in which the Ganta Checkpoint is located. Suspect Makonie Dolley is presently undergoing police investigation in Ganta. Since the announcement of border closure by the President of Liberia, the arrest of the single barrel rounds is the first of its kind by the security forces in the north of the country.
