I .E.’s Elections Next Week

All seem set for the much talk about Invincible Eleven (I E) Majestic Sports Association elections scheduled to take place on February 27, 2010.

The process was previously set for early January, but rescheduled for 27 February due to the death of its Former President and Board Chairman, Lawrence M. Doe.

IE’s Elections Commission, from 4 February to 16th, received and scrutinized applications for various positions, including President, Vice Presidents for Operations and Technical Affairs, as well as Secretary General.

A total of seven persons have already been qualified for the various positions. Those already qualified are James Tukpah, Kaddieyatu Asha Darrah and Richard Vacanerat Tolbert for President, While Alfred Chie Sayon and Francois R. Junius are candidates for the position VP for Operations and Technical Services.

Vincent Yelegar and Momolu V. O. Sirleaf will also be contesting the position of Secretary General. The positions of VP for Fan Club and Cheering Squad, Assistant General Secretary, Treasurer, Chaplin and Financial Secretary are yet to be contested for. Campaigning began yesterday, February18, and will close on the 26th at twelve midnight.

The IE Elections Commission will, Saturday, February 20, hold a mass meeting of all fans and sympathizers at the B.W. Harris School court yard at 4:00 pm for a debate to climax the campaign.
