I see more investors coming to Liberia

The Religious Advisor to President George M. Weah says it is about time that Liberia benefits from more investors desirous of doing business in the country.

Mother Kebbeh Karnga says though things are tough now, these tough times are just for short period, and will not last longer as others are predicting for the country, adding that tough times citizens are experiencing now will pave the way for more investors to come and create jobs.

She made the prophesy on Sunday, 13 May in the edifice of the Kebbeh Karnga Prayer and Delivering Ministry in Nickly Town, Paynesville outside Monrovia when she was crowned Mother of the Year during official mother day celebration.

“what I saw for this country is a good sign, because I see more investors coming here to do business that will empower our children even the zogoes that are in the streets will have a piece of job to do”, Mother Karnga predicts.

She says if Liberians are to benefit, prayer mothers at various churches across the country should get on their knees and pray to God. “Because people are coming to me, asking for sweeping jobs; that can only happen if we gave our leaders the best advice that they need to make good decisions that will benefit us as a people.”

She emphasizes that all religious leaders here have a great role to play in the development of Liberia, noting that Liberia’s development should not be limited to only the President.

“The President and every official need our advice, it is our advice to them that will help them to make good decisions, because it is our advice they act on as leaders.”

Mother Karnga says power comes with a huge responsibility, adding, “and the responsibility you are entrusting me with today is such a great one, but all I can say is thank you for picking me among all these powerful women of this church to honor me as Mother of the Year. I’m truly grateful for this opportunity; I pray that God carries everyone through your endeavors.”

According to her, many people misused the actual meaning of the honor bestowed upon them, stressing that mother day program is for the recognition of an admirable mother, who has provided inspiration to the nation, and who would represent a mother’s unconditional love, inner strength, and courage.

“It is not just to give birth to a child makes you a mother, but the wellbeing, the care, the love, among other essential things that every mother must have for their children, or even their neighbor’s children that makes one a real mother”.

The program was characterized by songs, and it brought together various churches, Gospel Music Ambassador Kanvee Adams, several top officials of government, including the Director of Passport at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
