I’ve come to take state power

After he came forth in the 2011 general and presidential elections, the political leader of the Liberia Transformation Party (LTP) Rev. Kennedy Sandy, says he has re-surfaced on the Liberian political scene to capture state power in 2017.

Rev. Kennedy spoke over the weekend in Sinkor, Monrovia when he convened an acquaintance meeting with partisans of the LTP. He said the LTP is awake and kicking, and called partisans to get ready to engage Liberians across the country as a surest strategy of taking state power.

The LTP leader said when elected president, he will firstly prioritize health and agriculture to ensure citizens have good health care and sufficient food, particularly the nation’s staple, rice. Rev. Kennedy vowed to prosecute anyone in an LTP-led government that will be caught in stealing public funds, even if it involves his mother.

He expressed sympathy to some officials of his party, who lost loved ones in recent times. Following the meeting, the LTP political leader also held close door meeting with coordinators and counties leaderships on the next plan of action ahead of elections next year.
